These keys are using to working with software’s onto the computer.

Keys: - Home – This key is used to bring the first place at the line/area, End - This key is used to bring the last place at the line/area, Pg up - This key is used to move the up page at a place, Pg dwn - This key is used to move the down page at a place, Pause/Break - This key is used to pause/break the running screen, Delete - This key is used to delete the text(behind the cursor at a line)/icon into the location, Prt scr - This key is used to capture the screen, Shift - This key is used to type the top letters in the two marks keys, Enter - This key is used to open a icon or make a new line into the software, Mouse right click key - This key is used to show the right click menu, Windows key - This key is used to show the start menu, Esc - This key is used to release the appeared menu, Insert - This key is used to insert the different character, Wake up - This key is used to wake up the computer, Sleep - This key is used to bring the sleep the machine immediately, Power – This key is used to quickly turn off the machine, Alt and CTRL (Control) - These keys are used to mostly controlling the software works with other keys.

D. Function Keys: - Total 12.

நீங்கள் இவ்வகையான விசைகளை விசைப்பலகையில் உள்ள வலதுபக்க பகுதியில் காணலாம்.

D.     செயற்பாட்டு விசைகள் – 12.

செயற்பாட்டு விசைகள் F1 - F12 வரை விசைப்பலகையின் மேற்பகுதியில் காணப்படும் இவ்வாறான விசைகள் அனைத்தும் வெவ்வேறு செயற்பாடுகளுக்கு பயன்படுத்தப்படுவதுடன், ஒரே தடவையில் பயன்படுத்தப்படுவதில்லை என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. இவ்வகையான விசைகளின் பயன்பாடு பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள இயக்க ஒழுங்கு(OS) மற்றும் தற்போது திறந்து வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மென்பொருள் போன்றவற்றை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டே இவ்விசைகள் செயற்படும்.

இவ்வகையான விசைகள் மீடியா பிளேயர்களை கையாள்வதற்காக பயன்படுத்தப் படுகின்றது.

HSPA (High Speed Packet Access).Enhanced 3G. Even YouTube videos can run without buffering. H is HSPA which is high speed packet access.Its a enchancemnet over 3G and is mix of HSDPA (downlink) and HSUPA (uplink). Major changes were done on radio side which increased the data rates upto 3 and 7Mbps (Theoretically its much more)

Meaning of H+ Symbol: 

HSPA+ (Evloved High Speed Packet Access) .Enhanced HSPA. Downloading and buffering can run smoothly. H+ is Evolved HSPA. HSPA was further improved into HSPA+ where technologies like MIMO antennas were introduced which boosted the data theoritically around 160Mbps downlink and around 15Mbps uplink (practically data rate is as we see this advertised as 21Mbps)

Meaning of 4G Symbol: 

LTE (Long Term Evolution).Present day World's high speed internet technology. 4G is the term used to refer to the next wave of high-speed mobile technologies that will be used to replace current 3G networks. The two top contenders are LTE and WiMAX, both of which are IP based networks that are built from similar, yet incompatible, technologies. Sprint and Clearwire are currently offering 4G WiMAX service in the USA, while Verizon and AT&T have committed to the use of LTE and are trialing their own 4G networks.

நம் மொபைல் டேட்டாவை ஆன் செய்தவுடன் 2G, E, 3G, H, H+ போன்ற Symbol வருவதை பார்த்திருக்கிறோம். 

1) '2G' - இது 2G நெட்வெர்க் இண்டர்நெட் GPRS (General Packet Radio service) கனெக்ட் செய்ததற்கான symbol.இதன் வேகம் மிக மிக குறைவாகவே இருக்கும். இது 2000-2009 ஆண்டுகளுக்கிடையில் அதிகம் பார்த்திருக்கிறோம். இதன் மூலம் நீங்கள் 1GB dataவை டவுன்லோடிங் செய்ய 165 மணி நேரமும், 1GB dataவை அனுப்ப அதே 165மணி நேரமும் பிடிக்கும்.

2) 'E' - இதுவும் 2G (2.5G) EDGE (Enhanced Data access for GSM Evaluation) மொபைல் இண்டர்நெட் ஆகும். 2008 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் இதன் பயன்பாடு அதிகமாக உள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் நாம் 1GB dataவை டவுன்லோடிங் செய்ய 44 மணி நேரமும், 1GB dataவை அனுப்ப 89 மணி நேரமும் ஆகும். இந்த 'E' பயன்பாடு தான் இந்தியாவில் பொரும்பாலானோர் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர்.

3) '3G' - இது 3G மொபைல் இண்டர்நெட் UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecom System) கனெக்ட் செய்வதன் மூலம் தோன்றும் குறி. இது இயங்க அவசியம் 3G இயங்குதள வசதியுடைய மொபைல் (Smart Phone) தேவை. இதன் மூலம் நாம் 1GB dataவை 6 மணி நேரத்தில் டவுன்லோடும், அதே 1GB dataவை 18 மணி நேரத்தில் அனுப்பவும் இயலும்.

4) Symbol 'H' - இது 3G மொபைல் இண்டர்நெட் HSPA (High Speed Packet Aceess) கனெக்ட் செய்வதன் மூலம் தோன்றும் குறி. இதை Smart Phoneகளின் மூலம் மட்டுமே பயன்படுத்த முடியும். இதன் மூலம் நாம் 1GB dataவை 25 நிமிட நேரத்தில் டவுன்லோடும், அதே 1GB dataவை 45 நிமிட நேரத்தில் அனுப்பவும் இயலும்.

5) 'H+' - இதுவும் 3G மொபைல் இண்டர்நெட் (Evolved High Speed Packet Access) கனெக்ட் செய்வதன் மூலம் வரும் குறியீடு. இதை இயங்க அவசியம் 3G இயங்குதள மொபைல் (SmartPhone) தேவை. இதன் மூலம் நாம் 1GB dataவை 5 முதல் 20 நிமிடங்களில் டவுன்லோடும், 1GB dataவை 15 முதல் 39 நிமிட நேரத்தில் அனுப்பவும் இயலும்.

6) '4G' - இச்சேவை 3G network internet - LTE (Long Term Evolution) இந்தியாவில் ஒரு சில நகரங்களில் மட்டுமே கிடைக்கின்றது. இதன் வேகம் மிகவும் அதிகம். இதை இயங்க அவசியம் 3G இயங்குதள மொபைல் (SmartPhone) தேவை. இதன் மூலம் நாம் 1GB dataவை 3 நிமிடத்தில் டவுன்லோடிங் செய்திடலாம். அதே 1GB dataவை அனுப்ப 5 நிமிடம் மட்டுமே போதும். அடுத்த ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் மாதம் நாடு முழுவமும் இச்சேவை வரும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

 How To type?

Start NHM Writer. NHM Writer will be be placed in system tray as shown below.

Left Click the NHM Writer icon, a Popup with available keymaps will appear as shown below.

How to type?

* Open any application (like MS Word, Pagemaker, Indesign etc.)

* Select the desired Keymap either using toggle keys or using left click menu.

* Start typing.

Note : Keymap is a definition file of mapping  keys in a keyboard layout to  characters of a particular language encoding

What is Hot Potatoes?

The Hot Potatoes suite includes six applications, enabling you to create interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the World Wide Web. Hot Potatoes is freeware, and you may use it for any purpose or project you like. It is not open-source. The Java version provides all the features found in the windows version, except: you can't upload to hotpotatoes.net and you can't export a SCORM object from Java Hot Potatoes.

The Hot Potatoes software suite includes five applications that can create exercises for the World Wide Web. The applications are JCloze, JCross, JMatch, JMix and JQuiz. There is also a sixth application called The Masher, that will compile all the Hot Potatoes exercises into one unit.

Hot Potatoes was created by the Research and Development team at the University of Victoria Humanities Computing and Media Centre. Commercial aspects of the software are handled by Half-Baked Software Inc. Hot Potatoes has been freeware since October 2009.

         கணனி என்பது ஒரு இலத்திரனியல் சாதனமாகும். இது தரவுகளை ஒரு செய்முறைக்கு உட்படுத்தி அதிலிருந்து பயனுள்ள தகவல்களைத் தருகின்ற சாதனமாகும். அத்துடன் Program களை கட்டுப்படுத்துகின்ற சேமிக்கின்ற செயற்பாட களைச் செய்யக்கூடிய சாதனமே கணனியாகும்

கணினி ஆனது எண்கணித செயற்பாடுகள், ஆவணங்களை இடம் மாற்றல், பிரதி செய்தல் போன்ற செயற்பாடுகளை ஒரு நிமிடத்தில் மில்லியன் அல்லது பில்லியன் ஆணைகள் (Instructions)என்ற வேகத்தில் செயற்படும் தன்மை வாய்ந்தது.

திருத்தம் (Accuracy)
